Artist's Comments

This is a very basic mod of the default Aero VS in Vista. The only thing I've done to it is alter the taskbar to fit in with Kaelri's Enigma rainmeter theme (found here: [link]). I haven't modded any of the windows, the start menu, or anything else.

I had originally meant to mod the rest of the theme to match better, but my trial copy of the software ran out before I got around to it.

You're welcome to "share, translate, remix, bend, modify, copy, trash, bash, move, publish, burn, hide, or remake" this theme in any way you see fit. If you're interested but don't know how, AeroXP [link] has some good tutorials and resources.

All I ask is that you post it on DeviantART and let me know in the comments so I and everyone else can make use of the improvements.

I love the weather icons.. Where do I get those? I use Enigma as well, but only have the black and white ones. They look nice, but I really like the ones you have there.
:iconaptitudescience:
the weather icons are from the hud.vision skin

How about more imagery of the actual theme? No open windows, no apps with the theme running,.. nothing,. not a very good screenshit,.. ooops,. shot,...

See the first paragraph of the description:

I haven't changed anything else. Everything else is the default Aero theme that Vista ships with. Not sure how I can be more clear.

Oooohhhh. Yes. Now I remember, I mixed the two. One of the nice things about rainlendar is that it lets you take bits and pieces from different skins.
:iconsolarisphere:
As someone pointed out on the theme's page, the weather widget is actually from the HUD Vision skin. I mixed the two.

Oh, ok, fair enough. Sorry.

Newb question here, how do I use this? I've used VistaGlazz to patch the files necessary but I can't seem to figure out how to actually use it.

Also, can I use this in conjunction with Vista Black for Vista Basic? It doesn't seem to effect the taskbar at all.

Things to buy???omg.. :wtf:

Assuming VistaGlazz worked correctly (it didn't for me, I had to patch it manually) all you have to do is extract the "Enigma theme" folder to C: > Windows > Resources > Themes and then double click "Aero Enigma.msstyles". This should bring up the themes window. Here you'll see a list of available themes. Because user generated themes aren't supported by Vista, you probably won't see this theme listed as "Aero Enigma". It will probably be listed as "windows aero" or something similar.

Let me know if you still can't get it.
